Rooftop Playspace – The Wonderful Town of Play

The Wonderful Town of Play transforms a 32,000-square-foot underutilised rooftop at T Town shopping centre into Hong Kong’s first wetland-themed outdoor playground. Inspired by Tin Shui Wai’s local ecosystem, the project introduces themed play zones, landmark structures, and multi-sensory installations that support recreation across generations. By turning a commercial rooftop into an accessible community hub, it brings play, learning, and neighbourhood belonging into everyday life.
