“Ring sharing ceremony” wedding rings

Mokumeganeya marries the tradition of “Mokume Gane”, a metalsmithing skill, with modern jewellery. Wedding rings are manufactured with the 400-year-old skill, creating two connected rings. Couples would take a hands-on approach and complete the wedding rings by dividing it into two themselves, leaving a mark on each ring as a reminder of their commitment to one another.
