Hygge Library

Hygge Library rejuvenates part of Temasek Polytechnic’s existing library into a restorative haven for students and staff. Inspired by the Danish concept of cosiness and wellbeing, the project introduces curated zones for rest, reading, meditation, and quiet reflection. Ambient lighting, soft carpets, natural materials, calming music, and subtle scent diffusion create a warm retreat that supports relaxation within a high-pressure campus environment.
