Christoph Gredler is an industrial designer who is known for his iconic design creations such as cameras, electronics and household appliances. In his work, he focuses on the beauty of functionality and knows how to best leverage the aesthetic value of outstanding engineering. His aim is to create simple, useful and sustainable products of high quality.
Christoph studied carpentry and worked as a interior architect before his focus shifted to industrial design. He worked for manufacturers and studios across Europe and Japan and is currently working for Google in Germany as an Industrial Design Lead. Some of his previous clients and employers include Leica Camera, Audi, Sony, Siemens, Toshiba and many more.
He was Design Lead on Google’s first smart watch, the Pixel watch, the Leica M10, Leica Sofort and is co-creator of the Leica T.
