Alan Kueh

Alan’s professional and academic career in master-planning, urban design, public realm, commercial, cultural, retail and residential areas has attracted much professional acclaim, both locally and internationally, having graduated with a master’s degree in urban design (RMIT, Australia). His innovative approach to architectural thinking has won more than 25 international architectural design awards since 2001 to date.

Alan Kueh is the founder and director of (AK+) Archipedia Ptd Ltd since 2010. Alan‘s carefully developed client-based industry relationship, broad experience and leadership skills make him natural authority and has the ability to see successful realization of projects with clients’ individual requirements. His energy and diligence motivate those who work with him to high standards and exacting delivery on all stages of a project.

With 15 years of experience working with public listed developers and global brands like Daiwa House, Hermes, Tiffany & Co. and Changi Airport Group, his expertise lies in creatively enhancing community experiences through spatial design and innovative technologies. As a thought leader and TEDx speaker, Alan envisions community-focused, positively impactful experiences that enhance our built environment.

Alan has maintained his dedication to design research and to speculative proposals that test the norms of architectural culture and of the city. Each project by becomes a re-invention of the type. Alan’s commitment to new public typologies captured the attention of the profession.
