WAAS is an innovative IoT safety net currently protecting about 14,000 seniors, with a national scale-up reaching 36,800 residents across 220 HDB blocks. Utilizing a pioneering LoRa-4G hybrid architecture for a five-year battery life, it delivers a sub-30-second emergency response at zero cost to seniors. Developed through deep community engagement and in partnership with HDB and MOH, WAAS bridges the digital divide, transforming emergency response into a proactive, nationwide “Circle of Care.”
